These nine short stories for children and
about children make a whole which pictures adults equally well.
But their worlds differ in sensitivity, wishes, hopes. Indifference
governs the world of adults. And yet, there happen to be some parents,
some relatives to whom children’s world of innocence is not alien.
When the gap is bridged this way, the unity of people on earth is
established. Then our wihes and
hopes get common for they are fed with love.
“.....Simon straightened up and started singing more loudly:
My Father will
deep as a rose,
tall as a rose,
stand beside her, swaying softly above,
with his eyes like petals,
looking at nothing,
with his poet’s face which is a flower,
with his arms that whisper
forgiveness to the woman who will soon
forget him.
Unexpectedly, in full light
he will bow,
and the whole meadow will bow to him....”
