Two friends exchange letters. One of them has emigrated to the USA and keeps writing about his new way of life and career prospects in the new environment. The other one is searching for his own identity within the scope of his Slavonic origin. They are both writers. And while the emigrant has discovered a consumer in himself the aboriginal starts discovering pagan mythology and vivid examples of extraordinary girls from ancient times. It is inevitable for the two friends to split.
